God wrote a book. It’s called the Bible. And its narrative unfolds in four chapters: Creation, Fall, Redemption, and New Creation. The Bible is worthy of our study, trust, and obedience because it reveals God’s good and authoritative design for flourishing life. Many have called its message “good news”. And yet, for some, the Bible’s teaching on sexuality feels anything but good. In this workshop, we’ll survey Scripture’s teaching about sex and sexuality, and consider how God’s design for sex and sexuality truly is good news for everyone.
Tyler Chernesky is the Associate Pastor at the Downtown Campus of Christ Community Church in Kansas City. He directs the Four Chapter Gallery, a vibrant collaboration between Christ Community and The Culture House that exhibits thoughtful art and curates meaningful conversations. Tyler studied English, History, and Religious Studies at Indiana University, and received his Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is passionate about creative communication, musical theater, and sunny beaches.
