What does it mean for sexual minorities and heterosexual majorities to be family with one another in the church? Is it just about tolerating each other, or can there be a mutual and life giving relationship between the two? And could God be moving towards a vision of lifting up the minority to thrive - in wholeness, obedience, and perhaps even leadership? Pastor Ray shares his experience in ministering to others as a single gay man
Ray graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and is currently serving as a pastor in New York City. He has a passion for discipleship, evangelism, and social justice issues, and his dream is to see reconciliation between the Church and the LGBT+ community. In his free time he volunteers with Lead Them Home, a ministry that seeks to equip pastors with the knowledge, tools, and compassion to love and serve the LGBT+ community. His favorite color is orange, which has been described by his friends as somehow both easy to buy gifts for and difficult to find gifts for.
