Johanna Finegan graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with an A.B. in philosophy, and received her PhD in philosophy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She was a longtime member of the Steering Committee of Bridges Across the Divide, an organization devoted to dialogue between those who disagree about homosexuality. She blogged about sexuality and mixed orientation marriage for several years, and is a member of the advisory committee for Spiritual Friendship. She resides in Ohio with her husband and two daughters.
